Gospel sax on the road! - April 12, 2013

In the last month, we have logged many miles travelling around the region sharing music and ministry. We have been in Columbus, OH, Marion, NC, and Chattanooga, TN. It has been wonderful, yet tiring to experience what travelling music artists have experienced down through the years. But it is all worth it to have the opportunity to share the music that God has blessed us with. The Pastors and congregations have been so gracious and have received our ministry with joy and hospitality. Thank you so much to  Pastor Rob Cope, Pastor Greg Ownesby, and Pastor Danny Pinter for these opportunities to share. And for trusting me with your pulpits! May God continue to bless your ministries and the congregations that you serve.

Christmas Concerts! - September 24, 2012

Scott will be celebrating the Christmas Season this year with a series of Saxopraise Christmas concerts. Dates and more information will be coming soon. "O come let us adore Him!"

Southern Gospel Gatherings - September 24, 2012

Over the last couple of months, Scott has had the opportunity to share his music in a setting which was a little different for him. Pastor Mitch Burch and the Townesmen Quartet from Middletown OH have organized several "Southern Gospel Gathering" weekends. Middletwon, OH, Morehead KY, and Teays Valley WV have been hosts to these events. The video on the cover page of this site is from the Middletown event over Memorial Day weekend, 2012. It has been a rich blessing to get to know the singers, musicians, and the Pastors and their congregations in these cities!

Exciting Changes! - November 17, 2011

After leading the music and worship ministry at Dayspring Church for almost 5 years, I will be stepping out of that role to focus more on the saxophone concert ministry! I am excited to be preparing new music, new multimedia tools, and the testimony that God has given me to share! Looking forward to what God has for us in ministry in 2012!

Fairfield Community Arts Center Concert - November 15, 2006

What a great evening we had on Sunday, November 5 at the beautiful Fairfield Community Arts Center. About 150 attended, and I am grateful for your friendship and support. Thanks to all the great musicians who played, and the Arts Center staff for all of their help..

From My Heart: "Engaging in Worship" - June 22, 2006

It has been my heart's desire that people fully engage in the God-encounter... the corporate worship experience. It is so easy to sit back and be a spectator, to passively "go to church". It is especially easy in a concert-type setting such as ours with no "lyrics" to the music. Through the use of tools such as multimedia, we are encouraging a personal experience with Christ in each service, and with each song. Take a moment and look up the great old hymn, "The Love of God". Ponder, meditate, drink in this great lyric. You will truly have a "God encounter"!

God Bless you.

The Big Saxophone Praise Band! - June 18, 2006

Several of Scott's recent performances have included a "saxophone big band" with a large ensemble of saxes, brass, and the rhythm section. The arrangements from "Songs for the Ages" are enhanced by the huge sound of 10 or more saxophones. If you are interested in a performance of the big band, or other booking information, email us at
